Pahang Rangers FC recorded a stunning triumph after knocking down Johor Darul Ta’zim 8-4 in the Malaysia Futsal Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg. The match which took place on August 17 at the Pasir Gudang Indoor Stadium shocked fans with the long-awaited victory.

12 minutes into the first half, Harith Na’im scored the breakthrough goal for the skuad Tok Gajah. The goal was quickly followed by Felipe de Souza who netted another goal a minute later, while the opposing team only managed one goal. The first half ended 2-1 in favour of Pahang Rangers FC.


The second half was quickly dominated by Felipe de Souza who added two goals to the scoreboard, achieving a hat-trick of his own. Johor Darul Ta’zim then found the back of the net twice, with Moura following with one goal shortly after. Harith Na’im, Felipe de Souza and Norakmal netted a goal of their own, before the opposing team scored the closing goal for the match. With the scoreline of 8-4, Pahang Rangers FC sealed the win.


At the final aggregate of 11-9, Pahang Rangers FC will be at the Malaysia Futsal Cup Final Stage to compete against Selangor.
