Pahang Rangers FC concluded Circuit 1 of the MPFL 2026 with an impressive unbeaten away run, collecting four points from two challenging fixtures on the road.
The opening match saw Pahang Rangers produce a dominant performance to defeat ATM 1-6 at Stadium Tertutup Pasir Gudang. Felipe de Souza netted twice, while Harith Naim, Akmarulnizam, Rodrigo and Tuah Eizlan also found the scoresheet to secure a convincing away victory.
The second fixture brought another tough challenge as Pahang Rangers faced defending champions JDT on their home court. Trailing 3-0 in the first half, the team showed tremendous character and determination to fight back for a dramatic 3-3 draw. Rodrigo opened the comeback before Daniel Dain added another, while Akmarulnizam completed the turnaround with a crucial equaliser in the second half.
A strong start away from home reflects the team’s fighting spirit and determination as the MPFL 2026 campaign continues.
