JOHOR BAHRU – Pahang concluded a spirited run at the Johor Futsal Invitation Cup 2026, finishing fourth after a week of high-intensity competition. Under the guidance of Head Coach Olic, the squad utilized the tournament as a critical litmus test for their upcoming SUKMA campaign.
Throughout the tournament, Pahang showed resilience and determination, securing a strong 4–0 victory over Negeri Sembilan and an important win against Wilayah Persekutuan. The team also earned a hard-fought draw against Sarawak.
Despite narrow defeats to Johor (4–3) and Sabah, the squad displayed great fighting spirit and remained competitive in every match.
The tournament served as a valuable platform for the team to build chemistry, gain experience, and strengthen their identity ahead of SUKMA. Finishing 4th, Pahang leaves Johor with valuable lessons and positive momentum moving forward.
