Pahang Rangers booked their place in the semi-finals with an emphatic victory over ATM in Saturday’s play-off, setting up a highly anticipated clash against JDT in the last four.
Backed by a lively home crowd at SUKPA, the Rangers wasted no time asserting their dominance. The breakthrough came through an own goal before Rodrigo, Sirhan Aiman, Syarifuddin and Razin added their names to the scoresheet, giving Pahang Rangers a commanding 5-0 advantage at the end of the first half.
The home side maintained their intensity after the restart and continued to create opportunities in attack. Felipe, Akmarulnizam, Syarifuddin and Syazwan each found the net in the second half to complete a memorable 9-0 victory and secure a place in the semi-finals in style.
