PAHANG RANGERS FUTSAL CLUB
“The heart of futsal”

ABOUT US
Kuantan Rangers FC
At its inception, Pahang Rangers was known as Kuantan Rangers FC, a futsal club
based in Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang. The club was founded by YAM Tengku
Arif Temenggong Pahang, Tengku Fahad Mua’adzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan
Ahmad Shah who is committed to take Malaysian futsal to new heights. Though
KRFC started off as a grassroots endeavor, Tengku Fahad’s vision has remained
steadfast – to see KRFC provide a nucleus for Malaysia’s eventual rise into a
regional futsal powerhouse.
Formed in November 2016, KRFC was established to not only compete but to
become a leading team in National Futsal League. In the long run, it aimed to
compete in the AFC Futsal Champions League. In November 2017, Kuantan
Rangers Academy was established to develop young talents and become the
feeder for the national team.
Pahang Rangers FC
The name change came after the realization that to become a better representative
of the state it only made sense for the club to adopt the name of the state. We
competed in the MPFL in 2019 and 2022, securing runner up both years. We also
achieved runner up in the Malaysia Futsal Cup (MFC) 2022. In 2023, PRFC was
accorded the title ‘King of Futsal’ after winning both MPFL and MFC. As a
consequence to our accomplishments, we substantially became more than a futsal
club. We have also assembled and established our own PRFC Community.
VISION
A home for not just Pahang born and bred, but also a home for others. Pahang Rangers has
become the place to be for professional futsal players in Malaysia. Thus, we make it our
business to ensure the success of Malaysian futsal.
MISSION
To be the heart of futsal in Malaysia as a club with a distinct identity and standard on
and off the pitch.
