Pahang Rangers

Kuantan Rangers was established in 2016 with the idea of improving and developing the profile of futsal in the state of Pahang. Tournaments and trials were launched throughout Pahang in the search of new talents and to develop them for the National Futsal League {LFK).

In 2017, Kuantan Rangers were beaten in the LFK qualifying finals and didn’t manage to secure a slot in 2017’s LFK. This forced Kuantan Rangers to look elsewhere to compete, and with sheer determination and passion to succeed, Kuantan Rangers emerged as the champion of Brunei Futsal League in 2017.

Kuantan Rangers came back stronger the next year and managed to qualify for 2018’s edition of LFK. The inaugural season in LFK saw Kuantan Rangers finished in the 5th spot.

In 2019, Kuantan Rangers was rebranded to Pahang Rangers and became the official state team of Pahang. In the same year, LFK was also renamed as Malaysia Premier Futsal League, and Pahang Rangers came close to winning the title, and finished as the runner-up of the league, behind Selangor.
