Pahang Rangers FC returned to Sukan Pahang Sports Complex (SUKPA) for the Malaysia Futsal Cup Quarter-Final 2nd Leg. The match took place on August 2, with the team facing off against Terengganu after defeating them in the 1st leg. After closing the Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) in July, the home ground finally roared again with cheers.

Compared to the first leg, both teams seemed to have learned each other’s tactical moves, as the breakthrough goal only came in the 12th minute of the match. The goal came from Terengganu, and was quickly followed by the skuad Tok Gajah through Amirul Khairuddin three minutes later. The opposing team responded at the 18th minute of the match, but Syazwan Musa netted a goal to end the first half with a draw.

Seven minutes into the second half, Iqhmal Najmie scored another goal for Pahang Rangers FC. Harith Na’im followed four minutes later with a goal of his own, before Norakmal closed the second half at the 37th minute. The final goal by Norakmal ended the 2nd Leg of the Quarter-Final in favour of Pahang Rangers FC.

The skuad Tok Gajah will be facing off against Johor Darul Ta’zim for the Malaysia Futsal Cup Semi-final 1st Leg. The match will take place at the Sukan Pahang Sports Complex (SUKPA) on August 9. We thank our fans for staying with us throughout the year, with your unwavering support!
